Upgrade Policy

• Minor Version Updates
  All minor version updates are free of charge. A minor update might add small features, improvements and fix any bugs that were found in the program. Minor version updates are released frequently, usually several times a year, but we do not guarantee their exact quantity. You can know if an update is a minor one by looking at the version number. If the first part of the number hasn't changed, it's a minor update - so if you have version 1.05 of a program, then versions 1.10, 1.13, 1.22 and 1.75 would all be examples of minor version updates.
• Major Version Upgrades
  Upgrading to a new major version of a program requires an upgrade fee. The upgrade fee will normally be 50% of the standard product price. A major version upgrade adds lots of new features, and may even be rewritten from scratch. Major upgrades aren't released very often - typically once every 1 to 2 years. You can know if an upgrade is a major one by looking at the version number. If the first part of the number changes, it's a major upgrade. For example, if you have version 1.75, then version 2.00 is a major upgrade.
